Heritage crafts and old-tyme farming skills are highlighted in this 2-day family event that showcases a simpler life. Draft animal teams will be demonstrating "no gas needed" farming skills and offering wagon rides, as well as providing power for corn-grinding and sorghum pressing (weather permitting). Molasses cooking, spinning, weaving, bobbin lacemaking, natural dyeing, soapmaking, handtool woodworking, gourdcrafting, ropemaking, rug hooking, wild-fiber baskets, beekeeping, native plant hikes, and much more (listing subject to change). Rare livestock breeds on display, live bluegrass & mountain music. Real chuckwagon food, whole hog barbecue, kettle corn, plus other treats! More may be added as we get closer to the event weekend!
